After several days of grueling challenges by Democrats during the confirmation hearings, it looks like the Senate will take a vote on the confirmation of Gorsuch the first week of April. During the hearings, we learned that Gorsuch does not believe in the “living Constitution” approach to interpreting the Constitution, believes that taking a human life through assisted suicide is always wrong, and supports religious liberty. Democrats have threatened to filibuster the vote.
