‘Plan C’ Campaign Pushes Dangerous RU-486

Abortion drug RU-486 (mifepristone), which was fast-tracked and approved by the FDA during the Clinton administration in 2000, is being pushed online as a “safe” method for a do-it-yourself abortion. This type of self-administered chemical abortion without a doctor’s intervention is what abortion activist Francine Coeytaux has been pushing since 2014 through her “Plan C” website marketed to pregnant millennial women.

The reality, however, is that women who take the pill often do not receive any instructions on how to properly use the drug and the FDA was forced to issue a Public Health Advisory because so many women have died from sepsis.
