Focus on the Family will be broadcasting a live, in-real-time 4D ultrasound of an unborn baby on giant jumbotrons in Times Square May 4 in response to New York’s extreme abortion law and attempts to pass similar legislation in Virginia.
Focus’ goal is to encourage the world to value the sanctity of life and promote a culture that will help women choose life. “Times Square is known as ‘The Crossroads of the World’ and we’re at a crossroad as a nation regarding life,” says Focus on the Family President Jim Daly. “Do we really want to be part of the Abortion Axis of Evil – like China, North Korea, and Vietnam that allows abortion for any reason after 20 weeks? We’re hearing from people all over the country who are disgusted by the blatant disregard for life. Enough is enough!”
Research shows that as many as 54-percent of pregnant women will choose not to abort after seeing a 4D image of their unborn baby.
The Focus on the Family presentation, Alive From New York, will also include live music and special guest speakers. To find out more or to sign the Declaration for Life petition, go here.
