Illinois taxpayers will be forced to pay for the abortions of state-funded Medicaid patients and state employees as a result of a bill recently signed into law by Illinois Gov. Bruce Rauner, who had previously promised to veto it. The bill also protects the state abortion provisions if Roe v. Wade ever gets overturned.
Illinois Gov. Rauner revealed his true colors when he said, “I personally am pro-choice. I always have been. And I made no qualms about that when I was elected governor.”
Says Illinois Family Insitute, “Based on the increased number of new Medicaid recipients in the last 5 years, Illinois taxpayers will now be complicit in the deaths of 10,000 to 15,000 more babies every year.”
