Shout Your Abortion Co-Founder to Release Children’s Book

The co-founder of the pro-choice #ShoutYourAbortion social media campaign that is attempting to put a positive spin on murdering children in the womb teamed up with Seattle-based HiHo Kids to produce a YouTube video in which children ask her questions about her abortion.

In the video, Amelia Bonow compares the abortion procedure to “a crappy dentist appointment.” Bonow goes on to say that she believes “life begins when a person has a baby,” not at conception, and that abortion “is all part of God’s plan.”

Bonow is the author of the book Shout Your Abortion and plans a children’s book about abortion in 2020.

While the secular media, including Oprah’s O Magazine, is promoting Bonow’s activism and the pro-choice narrative, there is a conservative counter-movement called Silent No More that details the regrets of women who have had abortions. Pro-life activist Alveda King is one of the movement’s spokespersons.

New York City Gender-Neutral Birth Certificates Become a Reality

This week a New York City law went into effect that allows adults to change their birth certificates to reflect either “male,” “female,” or the so-called gender-neutral “X” and gives parents the same options for their newborns.

New Yorkers no longer need a letter from a physician or an affidavit signed by a licensed health care provider to change their sex on their birth certificates. No gender reassignment surgery necessary.

“You be you. Live your truth. And know that New York City will have your back,” New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said after signing the measure into law last October.

California, Oregon, Washington state, and New Jersey (in February) also have similar laws.

Customer Rants for Being ‘Misgendered’

A recent video in a GameStop store depicts a “transgender” woman (a biological man who identifies as a woman) angry at store management for referring to him as “sir” instead of his preferred “ma’am.” Not only does this customer threaten a store clerk with physical harm, but he also threatens to wield the power of the LGBT community against the gaming store for “misgendering” him.

Yet while the irate customer demands to be addressed as a female, cultural commentator Michael Brown makes the point that the “transgender” woman’s aggressive “inner male came roaring back to the surface when his femaleness was challenged.”

Caution: Note that there is some language in the YouTube video.

Apple Bans Ministry App for Heralding Biblical Marriage

Apple removed an app from its app store that offers treatment for those with same-sex attraction because it deemed the app “homophobic.” Apparently, Apple was pressured to remove the app after the national gay rights group Truth Wins Out received a mere 365 signatures on its petition, calling the app “bigoted,” “hateful,” and “dangerous, homophobic garbage.”

Texas-based Living Hope Ministries, the Christian nonprofit that created the app, “proclaim(s) a Christ-centered, biblical world-view of sexual expression rooted in one man and one woman in a committed, monogamous, heterosexual marriage for life.”

The app, simply titled Living Hope Ministries, is still available for download on the Google Play store. It offers a selection of audio and video teachings, devotionals, and helps for family and friends.
