Canadian Dad Promotes ‘Family Violence’ Over Calling Daughter ‘She’

The Supreme Court of British Columbia in Canada has ordered a father to stop calling his 14-year-old daughter (noted in legal documents as “Maxine”) a “she” or “her” and using her given name, whether in public or in private, and preventing her from continuing to receive “transitioning” hormones. The court has deemed such expressions as “family violence.”

The father also cannot “’directly, or indirectly through an agent or third party, publish or share information or documentation relating to [Maxine]’s sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, mental or physical health, medical status or therapies,’ besides the Court, legal counsel, medical professionals, or any person authorized by Maxine or the Court.”

If the father disobeys, he will be subject to arrest. The court order remains in effect for one year.

This news should awaken Americans to where the LGBT agenda is headed. If it seems extreme to you as a conservative and as a parent, you are not alone. “In a totalitarian regime, it’s a parents’ worst nightmare,” writes Michael Brown. “I doubt that Orwell himself could have imagine [sic] a scenario like this. Arrested for calling your daughter by her name. Arrested for referring to your daughter as a girl. What kind of madness is this?”

Unfortunately, in the name of freedom of sexual expression, a family is being broken apart. Said the father, “The government has taken over my parental rights. They’re using [my daughter] like she’s a guinea pig in an experiment.” Is the hospital treating her going to be there in five years when she rejects [her male identity]? No, they’re not. They don’t care.”
