Canada Passes ‘Transgender’ Rights Bill

Last Thursday, Canada’s Senate overwhelmingly passed bill C-16 that will make it a crime to not only speak out against “transgenderism,” but to refuse to call someone by his or her preferred pronoun. Those who do not subscribe to progressive gender theory could be accused of hate crimes, jailed, fined, and made to take anti-bias training.

The bill, which will soon become law, puts “gender identity” and “gender expression” into the country’s Human Rights Code and the hate crime category of its Criminal Code.

Says Jack Fonseca, Campaign Life’s senior political strategist, “Mark my words, this law will not be used as some sort of ‘shield’ to defend vulnerable transsexuals, but rather as a weapon with which to bludgeon people of faith and free-thinking Canadians who refuse to deny truth.”
