2018 ‘Dirty Dozen’ List of Companies That Promote Sexual Exploitation

The National Center on Sexual Exploitation (NCOSE) released its annual “Dirty Dozen” list that names companies that perpetuate sexual exploitation through pornography, prostitution, sexual objectification, sexual violence and/or sex trafficking.

This year’s list largely names media corporations as violators. At the top of the list is Amazon, followed by Backpage.com, Comcast, EBSCO, HBO, iBooks, Poster Boys, ROKU, Snapchat, Steam, Twitter, and YouTube.

The NCOSE website not only lists these entities, but also outlines the basis for their inclusion. Be aware, however, that while graphic images and language are blurred, the content is not family friendly and could be viewed by some as graphic.
