FBI Investigates Fetal Tissue Trafficking

This week the FBI requested unredacted documents that the Senate Judiciary Committee obtained from abortion providers as part of a probe into whether Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers sold fetal tissue, which is illegal, instead of simply transferring fetal tissue for research purposes.

Both the House and the Senate have been investigating these allegations for the past couple of years, and both found enough evidence for a criminal investigation.

“There is a great deal of evidence showing the abortion industry has skirted both state and federal laws that serve as the bare-minimum protection for the dignity of human life. . . . We hope that this unprecedented investigation will uncover the truth. Only a thorough investigation by the Justice Department will ensure that women and their unborn children are protected from the dangerous motivations behind this criminal conduct,” said Catherine Glenn Foster, CEO and president of Americans United for Life.

Planned Parenthood Targets Pregnant Black Women in Tasteless Tweet

The abortion giant has shown its eugenics underbelly in a recent tweet campaign targeted to black women. The tweet from PP Black Community reads, “If you’re a Black woman in America, it’s statistically safer to have an abortion than to carry a pregnancy to term or give birth #ScaryStats.” Ironically, this blatant message of death was posted on Halloween.

Convincing black women that it is safer to have an abortion than to give birth is sending a message directly opposite of Planned Parenthood’s typical message of supposed “empowerment” and “inclusion.”

Alveda King, director of Civil Rights for Unborn Children and niece of Martin Luther King Jr., spoke out against the tweet by saying, “The pro-life movement stands for justice and is ‘the new civil rights movement.’ What ‘Blacks’ were for the Civil Rights Movement of the 60s, the unborn are for the Civil Rights Movement of today.”

Planned Parenthood Reminds DREAMers They Can Still Get Abortions

Cecile Richardson, president of Planned Parenthood, responded to President Donald Trump’s end of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program (DACA) with a tweet saying, “Cruel. Unacceptable. We won’t stand silent. Our doors remain open to all, including DREAMers and DACA recipients—no matter what.”

Richardson’s strong statement opened a firestorm from pro-lifers on Twitter, who quickly pointed out Richardson’s lack of compassion for the lives of the unborn who are murdered by the well-funded abortion giant every day.

Planned Parenthood’s fundraising email that reiterated “We believe in every person’s right to control their own destiny and their own body” obviously doesn’t include unborn persons.

South Carolina Governor Boldly Defunds Planned Parenthood

Recently, South Carolina’s governor, Henry McMaster, issued an executive order that blocks taxpayer dollars from going to any health care clinics that perform abortions. “Taxpayer dollars must not directly or indirectly subsidize abortion providers like Planned Parenthood,” said Gov. McMaster.

The order also directs South Carolina’s Health and Human Services Department to request a waiver from the federal government that would allow the department to stop funding abortion through the state’s Medicaid provider network. The governor is also making available a list of all qualified non-abortion women’s health and family planning providers operating within a 25-mile radius of any abortion clinic that is excluded from the state’s Medicaid provider network.

Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of the Susan B. Antony List, praised the Palmetto State’s decision. “We thank Governor McMaster for acting to ensure taxpayers fund comprehensive primary and preventative care for women and families, not abortion businesses like Planned Parenthood. Abortion is not health care,” she said.

New Emoji App Tries to Get Millennials to Donate to Planned Parenthood

Last week, New York artist Ivy Hu launched a new app called Ooti the Uterus, a set of 26 animated emoji stickers featuring a pink uterus, to celebrate the nation’s abortion giant. It is available on the Apple app store for $1.99 and all proceeds go to Planned Parenthood.

As it says on the official website, “Ooti’s here so we can celebrate this amazing reproductive organ as well as support the fantastic health services Planned Parenthood provides.” Pro-aborts might call this new app “cute,” but they are severely misinformed when it comes to Planned Parenthood’s “fantastic health services.” The abortion giant actually does less to help women than other community comprehensive health centers and even some pro-life pregnancy resource centers.
