Flushing Down Student Privacy

Last week the so-called “bathroom bill” designed to protect the privacy of the children in our K-12 public schools died in the Senate Education Committee.

As a result, local schools can allow biological males to choose to use a young girl’s bathroom or locker room, and local schools that protect privacy will still be exposed to expensive lawsuits for “discrimination” by groups like the ACLU.

But the most tragic thing is that the bill died because no one made a motion to allow it to be discussed. It didn’t die because it was debated and a majority of the committee members voted against it.

The values of hundreds of thousands of Tennesseans were flushed away without any discussion. Learn who these senators are and how to contact them through the Legislation tab on our website.
