Church Resources

Many people wonder about the church’s role in political affairs. Should churches stay out of politics completely, or lobby hard for a Christian state?

The Bible offers the most excellent way: Be “salt and light” yet “submit to the authorities.” This means churches must actively influence our rulers to promote what is good, never putting too much faith in government since laws are powerless to change hearts or solve root problems. It also means churches must not seek to subvert the authorities, recognizing that government is a partner in preserving freedom and justice for all.

With so many cultural issues and legal regulations, knowing how to participate can be overwhelming. So FACT has compiled the resources listed here to help your church to promote a better understanding of the issues and a healthier level of involvement.
