A Day Without a Woman Strike

On Wednesday, the same day as International Women’s Day, the Women’s March and supporters staged “A Day Without a Woman” strike that called women to take the day off from paid and unpaid labor in order to showcase the supposed lack of advancement and victimhood for women. While Women’s March called it “a one-day demonstration of economic solidarity” acting together for “equity, justice, and the human rights of women,” The Daily Signal explained that women are actually faring better now than they ever have and suggested a strike could hurt not only economically but the family if school’s decided to close for the day.
